Student in type design in écal (Swiss), i’m looking for Hermann Zapf ‘s archives: especially high quality drawing/printing specimens/proofs of Melior typeface. Waiting forward to hear from you,

    The two comprehensive archives of Professor Zapf’s work are at two university archives. The first is in Germany at the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbuttel, and the second is at the RIT Cary Graphic Arts Collection in Rochester, New York, USA. http://www.hab.de/en/home.html and http://cary.rit.edu
    The Cary has finished, printed type specimens of Melior, but no original drawings of this typeface.

    Julian Waters has an extensive collection. He was one of Zapf’s two proteges. I’d reach out to him.
