Solved! This wood-mounted electrotype of a wood engraving and print (3″ ×  3¾″) are from the collection of Edna Macphail, which she inherited from her grandfather, the fine press printer Arthur W. Rushmore (1883–1955).

This electrotype may have been printed, ca. 1927–1950, at Rushmore’s private Golden Hind Press. Ms. Macphail would like to know who the artist was. Note the HC monogram. Does anyone recognize it and can name the artists or suggest any leads?
