I’m looking for information about the St Louis publisher F. L. Rand, responsible for a series of small dictionaries used as premiums for school shoes from about 1923–1927. The name also appears on toys as premiums produced for the Red Goose shoe brand. Hard facts about F. L. Rand are in short supply; so much so that I wonder if it is simply a false imprint.
