Call for Papers for Printing History 33

The American Printing History Association invites submissions for the next issue of its peer-reviewed journal Printing History. Seeking to represent the discussions begun at its recent conference in LA, “Making Artistic Noise: Printing and Social Activism from the 1960s to the Present,” this issue will feature articles from conference presenters and panelists. Research and comments from the wider community are welcome.

Danelle Moon, Curator Rare Books, Print History, Artist Books and Local History, Special Research Collections, UCSB Library, organized the conference and has graciously agreed to act as guest editor for this issue of Printing History.

Contributions from the interested community of historians are now being accepted along with submissions from conference participants.

Submissions are due February 15, 2023. Submissions should be sent by email to publications@printinghistory.org. Selection of articles and content review will be made by the APHA editorial committee and their invited colleagues. Publication is scheduled for July 2023.

Please follow this link for guidelines for submitting text and images submission guidelines. More information on the conference and its subject matter is available here: Making Artistic Noise: Printing and Social Activism from the 1960s to the Present.
