2019 APHA Awards Nominations Sought
Dear APHA member,
Who has made major contributions to printing history? Who is making these contributions today? The American Printing History Association presents two annual awards, one to an individual and one to an institution, as a way of recognizing “a distinguished contribution to the study, recording, preservation or dissemination of printing history, in any specific area or in general terms.” Year upon year, there have been excellent nominations submitted making the selection process terribly challenging.
The 2019 APHA awards committee members welcome your thoughtful and thorough nominations for these important awards. Nominations will be considered only if the following information is included:
- name & contact information of the nominee (institution or individual);
- nominator contact information (name, email, and phone);
- a summary of why the nominee’s contribution to printing history deserves recognition; and
- basic biographical or institutional information about the nominee.
A list of previous awardees is available here.
The deadline for the nomination process is November 16th, 2018. Recipients will receive awards at the APHA annual meeting in New York 26January 2019. Electronic submissions are preferred: Please send them to awards@printinghistory.org. Nominations by mail should be sent to:
